This whopping 51-episode historical piece is based on the life of Empress Ki, a Korean concubine (played by Ha Ji-won) who lived from 1315 to 1369/70, and who married a Mongolian emperor.

The KBS2 drama was written by Jung Hyung-soo and directed by Han Hee, who directed Goodbye Mr. Black and Empress Ki. The drama airs on Rakuten Viki in the US.
