Billy Napier and the Florida Gators are heading to a bowl game this year after missing out on college football’s postseason in 2023. This time around, the Orange and Blue will be playing in the Gasparilla Bowl for the second time in four years, with the Tulane Green Wave slated as their opponent.

Barely a month ago, the Florida Gators' season appeared destined to end in turmoil. Instead, it will end in Tampa. The Gators will face American Athletic Conference runnerup Tulane (9-4) in the Gasparilla Bowl at Raymond James Stadium on Dec. 20. Florida also appeared in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl, losing 29-17 to UCF.
