Star Wars villain Darth Maul is getting his own series. The popular character, who first appeared in 1999’s Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, will headline Maul: Shadow Lord, a new animated series for Disney+, it was announced at Star Wars Celebration on Friday.

Lucasfilm is in production on a new solo animated series for the Star Wars villain you absolutely cannot keep down: Darth Maul. Despite having been killed on screen by Obi-Wan Kenobi twice over, Darth Maul will anchor the newly announced series Maul: Shadow Lord.
