Gov. Greg Gianforte and the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation will harvest the State Capitol Christmas tree on Monday.

Gov. Greg Gianforte made his way to Bozeman along with the DNRC to help pick out a 40-foot tree to serve as Montana's 2024 Capitol Christmas Tree.

The tree was a gift from the San Carlos Apache Tribe and was harvested from the Point of Pines area, northeast of Globe.
