Despite the sea of hoppers and hail that wiped out all but one-sixth of his hay crop, farmer and Golden Valley County Commissioner Tony Zinne is all smiles about progress on Ryegate’s fire hall.

Kathleen Ott, 81, was born in Roundup in 1943. Her dad's job with the railroad moved the family to Franklin/Ryegate. She attended high school in Ryegate, where she met her husband, Jim.
