Police said the Tesla’s owner reported Sunday that his truck had been vandalized while parked at a charging station in the Station Street parking lot in Hingham.

A 20-year-old Weymouth man accused of keying a Tesla Cybertruck at an electric charging station in Hingham over the weekend was arraigned in court Wednesday, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.

A South Shore man was arrested and charged after another Tesla vehicle was reported vandalized. Hingham police said the owner of a 2024 Cybertruck contacted them to report that the vehicle's camera system captured a man walking past his parked vehicle on April 13 while dragging a key down the passenger side.
