Currently, most use TN 240/360hz 1080p monitors, with some opting for IPS. On paper, QD-OLED seems superior: incredible image quality, high refresh rates, and virtually no latency. The jump to 1440p at 360Hz would be a significant upgrade for competitive players.

Dec 19, 2020 · I have 27" 1440p 144hz but fuck that , I'm going for 360hz , I want smooth gameplay , If you want good looking game you can max out setting on 1080p there is not BIG difference though , But if planning on getting 1440p 240hz you defiantly will play on low settings to reach consist 240hz so there is no much different .

DP 1.4 - what’s the point of 1440p monitors with more than 240Hz?
Mar 19, 2023 · However I just now realized that DP 1.4 doesn’t allow for any higher than 240Hz at 1440p. Was considering getting this Alienware Monitor AW2723DF - 240Hz 1440p and can be overclocked to 280Hz. Just wondering, is there any benefit to even overclocking it, or looking at 1440p 360Hz monitors when the DP 1.4 cable only allows 240Hz?

1440p 360hz on current QD OLED has some text clarity issues (at least with this matte G6) but the 360hz and lower res is a bit nicer for competitive games. I'm convinced this is one of the fastest monitors available right now for raw input latency. The 4k 240hz glossy QD OLED looks a bit better, but It feels worse to play on.
