Nov 6, 2009 · 38/357 relationship has little bearing on .40/10 or 9x19/9x21/9x23 unless shot in revolvers wherein moonclips provide headspacing requirements. Sounds like if I want a bigger, badder auto I need to go 10mm. If 9x21 can't load a 158gr minimum weight bullet, I don't think I'm …
9x19 v. 9x21 - Handgun Forum
Jun 25, 2007 · 9x21 will not chamber in a 9x19. It's 2mm too long. 9x19 will chamber in a 9x21. However, since both rounds headspace on the case mouth, there will be nothing to support 9x19 in a 9x21 chamber. The only think holding the 9x19 in place would be the extractor. The result will be unreliable ignition and probably poor accuracy.

9mm Major - The Firing Line Forums
Jul 6, 2007 · I am convinced the longer 9x21 case provides more time for powder burn due to increased case neck tension from its longer case). I often use compressed loads, particularly for social ammo, to preclude any possibility of bullet set-back, which IMO would be catastrophic at these elevated Screw-SAAMI pressures.
