I am thinking of buying a Ryzen 7 5700x and wondered if its compatible with my motherboard, rather my BIOS version, do I need to update it beforehand? Here is a photo of my motherboard in CPU-Z with the version in the middle.

Jul 13, 2019 · OK, so here is what I did on my ASRock AB350M Pro4 and my 3600x: Change up your fan curve in the BIOS to get rid of the spin ups. Remember that your BIOS was reset after upgrading, so you may have had a custom curve. I have mine set to maybe 35% until it gets to 70C See if you can get by dialing in a static voltage and O/C, and turning PBO off.

Aug 31, 2022 · Yes, it works. I have installed a Asus Hyper M2 card on a ASRock B450M Pro4, 32GB ECC Ram and Ryzen 3100, running headless. It has 4x4x4x4 configuration and works both with Windows and Proxmox, seeing all 4 drives. The Hyper card need to be in the PCIE 3.0 X16 slot, else it doesn't work.

Aug 3, 2018 · I recentyl purchased a Asrock B450M Pro4 Motherboard. The UEFI doesnt provide a option to disable the RGB LED Pulse Mode. Asrocks RGB LED software utility RGBLED(v1.0.12).zip doesnt seems to work with the B450 chipset.

Jul 30, 2020 · Put simply ASRock RGB is trash. Having said that I got it working myself on B450M Pro4 after some hassle. First of all download software specific to you motherboard - almost every mobo uses different FW/software when it comes to ASRock (even software versions could be incompatible with different FW on the same motherboard).

Jun 29, 2022 · I had r5 1600x, asrock b450m pro 4, and gtx 1050. Recently upgraded to rx 6600, and now thinking to upgrade cpu to r5 5600/x. Mostly because smart access memory, and overall good boost in performance.

Actually anything i've tested the AsRock B450 Pro4 in both the matx and atx form factors were the ones i landed on as being the best out of asus/msi/gigabyte boards i tested. Less screwing around, booted straight up and worked with the memory at their rated speeds for numerous models out of the box and bios updated without a hitch.
