Age of the Ring is super pretty with a crap load to see but I just get so bored playing it after a while as the faction differences arent big enough and there is too much bloat and unit crossover that isn't implemented with enough thought or purpose.

Mar 3, 2022 · Before all of this that i said make sure you have the RotWK 2.02 patch v 8.0.1 in there(you can have up to v 8.4.0) the patch has a versions switcher so no biggie. I have installed on my lap RotWK up to patch 2.02v8.4.0 and i just switch the version with the patch switcher to access Age of the Ring.

Multiplayer delay fix now compatible with Age of The Ring
Mar 11, 2024 · The patch 2.02 devs have recently released their delay fix to the public. This fix effectively removes the built-in 1-2 second off-host delay between players' orders and their executions during multiplayer matches. We have done preliminary testing of its compatibility with Age of the Ring, and the fix works properly.

However, I am now trying to replicate the steps on a second steam deck and got all the way up to adding the -mod command in Bottles to launch Age of the Ring, except this time nothing happens when i run the exe.
