The Arlington County Board voted on April 9, 2025, to adopt a $1.69 billion balanced budget for Fiscal Year 2026, a 2.3% increase over FY 2025. The adopted budget focuses on foundational services for the community, including housing, human services, environmental sustainability, public safety, workforce investments and public schools.

The 17th Judicial Circuit is comprised of four circuit court judges administering litigation for the Arlington County and the City of the Falls Church. The Circuit Court is the trial court of general jurisdiction in Virginia.
