AUI was formed in 1983 and is a full service commercial and renewable energy contractor based in Fort Worth, Texas. As Partner and CFO of AUI, Charles is responsible for all financial operations of the company, including financing, reporting and accounting, risk management and legal matters. Charles also oversees the Human Resources and Technology departments of the company.

AUI was formed in 1983, with the name standing for “Architectural Utilities Inc.” Our primary focus in those early years was in civil and underground utility construction. Throughout the years, we diversified our market target and created multiple divisions within our company.

As General Counsel for AUI, Paulo has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since 1989. The majority of his practice has been devoted to Construction Law. Prior to joining AUI, Paulo was a Partner with the National Law Firm of Peckar & Abramson, P.C.
