BFG Trail Terrains are awesome : r/4Runner - Reddit
Jul 13, 2023 · These tail terrains balanced perfectly. I have zero vibration in the steering wheel at speed up to 85, they are considered an all terrain tire with 3PMS rating, 11 pounds lighter than the Wildpeak AT4W's. My 4Runner shed 55 pounds today, including spare. I don't notice road noise compared to the AT4W's. I also like the way the BFG Trail ...
BFG KO2’s (opinions and real world experience) : r/overlanding
A BFG KO2 is going to be decent on the freeway, excellent in snow, good on sand and very good on rocks. I don't think the Goodyear Wrangler AT is as good as the KO2, but it's also a good tire if you get the right version. The Falken Wildpeak AT3W's I have came from the factory on my Gladiator Rubicon, and I swapped them over to my old 93 Wrangler.
KO2 vs AT3 : r/4Runner - Reddit
Oct 12, 2021 · BFG K02 vs Cooper AT3 Recently picked up my very first brand new 4runner and im trying to decide between these two tires. Whats everyone's opinion based on use? I've done a good bit of reading on both tires, as well as many other ones but im still not sure which one to pull the trigger on. Appreciate any opinions and suggestions, thanks.
HELP: BFG KO2 vs Firestone AT2? : r/4Runner - Reddit
May 9, 2022 · Running BFG KO2s now that at best have a few thousand miles left on them. Seriously considering the Firestone AT2s but have seen mixed reviews online. Several times a month, I get off road on unmaintained woods roads with minimal mud and a ton of loose rock.
Curious about BFG KO2's highway noise, anybody got experience?
Bout to get some new tires....looking at the KO2's but worried they might be loud on the highway. Was also looking at Michelins Defender LTX M/S. The "buy 3 get 4th free" sale ends on the 7th in my area. I do occasional offroading, decent amount of snow driving, and lots of highway. Any advice is welcome
r/4Runner on Reddit: Can’t decide between BGF KO2 and Nitto …
Had ko2 33s on my 4runner but prefer duratracs. Wanted ridge grapplers at 37s but couldn't find any so settled on some Toyo open country rt. So far so good. Would have gotten the duratracs if they made 37s. By the way, I'm on my 3rd set of duratracs with the 4runner and still love them. Great all around tires.
FALKEN WILDPEAK or BFG KO2 on stock TRD rims … : r/4Runner
Falken Wildpeak AT3’s are significantly cheaper than KO2’s where I’m from (Canada) so that was a big factor of why I chose it. When I was at the tire shop, the BFG rep was there and noticed I was buying the Wildpeak’s instead of the KO2’s, and he commented he would do the same because the performance is comparable but they don’t ...
BFG KO2 Speed Rating? : r/4Runner - Reddit
Nov 29, 2020 · Depends on the price difference. I always go "better" if it isn't too much more. But do you need the S over the Q, not likely on the 4runner. The other comment with the speeds makes it pretty obvious, if you plan on driving over 100mph for more than a moment or two then yeah you should get the S.
BFG K02 vs. Toyo AT3 : r/4Runner - Reddit
Apr 4, 2024 · KO2's are everywhere in the southwest, as they perform very well on sharp rock and slickrock. But that means that just-water situations they tend not to do as well at. They're strictly average on the highway - P-rated tires will of course give you better mileage, but the 4Runner is …
Tires - KO2 worth the price? : r/4Runner - Reddit
Jan 11, 2023 · I've had BFG KO2, Bridgestone Dueler AT, GY Duratracs, Falken Wildpeak AT3W, Toyo AT2, Toyo AT3, and Michelin LTX M/s² and I can honestly say the worst in rain and snow were the KO2s. I can rip around corners and gas it on a start going up steep hills in the rain with Wildpeaks or Toyo AT3s and keep traction, but the KO2s required to be in 4wd ...
