Apr 22, 2017 · The S54 is a high-revving race-derived purebred, and the LS has far more low-end torque. Can't quantify engines in terms of HP numbers alone. All depends on what you want your car to feel like. Personally I think an LS swap is the most boring upgrade path imaginable, but different strokes for different folks. :dunno:

Apr 1, 2022 · It seems like it should be relatively simple, as the ls7 is closely related to the ls3, and that has been done more than a few times. I suspect that the dry sump will present it's own challenges, but should ultimately prove to a bonus in several aspects. May 21, 2020 · Conclusion: This is a pretty good solution if you want a limited slip diff and don't mind a bit of tinkering, (or paying a shop to install it). The kit costs about 300 USD which is a bargain compared to some the current units on the market. It doesn't require re-lashing gears or anything of that nature.
