May 2, 2018 · The Centurion can carry 3 SRM6 and 2 ML and can fire all for 2 turns on hot and 3 turns on cold biomes. I prefer to use it when I start seeing Thundebolts on regular basis. Those mechs usually have more than 220 hp on the legs so you need the extra firepower.

For LRM support, the Archer is usually what people think of first, maybe a Cyclops as a command unit, or a Locust for scouting. Trooper designs have a few solid entries, of course, but perhaps none fit the bill better than the Centurion, a design that has embodied the frontline soldier aspect of Battlemech warfare since the fall of the Star League.
