Diamondhead and Chromastone are separate aliens. The reason why Sugilite is in Diamondhead who is in Chromastone isn't really ever explained.

Feb 8, 2022 · Diamondhead is a powerhouse. He's stronger, more durable, and can manipulate crystals. He can't absorb and fire energy, but he can still deflect beams. The problem is that there are too many "clones" of Ben's older aliens, and people end up comparing them.

This is old but my theory is since chromastone being like an after version of diamond head from Ben's original omnitrix it prolly just recycled from the original Playlist it being a similar DNA and since Ben's watch transformed into the new one Diamondhead DNA could just been evolved into chromastone I think hinted at in the first transformation

Mar 6, 2023 · LMAO. During my research to create an Ultimate Diamondhead i came upon a Ben 10 pop up that stated Petrosapiens come in different shapes and colors; Blue, Black etc.. although it later on got retconed. But I still use that base as an idea to make Theee ULTIMATE DIAMONDHEAD 😎
