Shame about him dying at the end of the Scarlet Spiders tie-in to the original Spider-Verse event, though Kaine flipping out and going full Other in an attempt to avenge him was rather heartwarming and heartbreaking, in its way.

Jan 1, 2025 · It was a two-parter. Got it from an NYC Comic-Con more than a decade ago. Was interesting. Spider-Man/Ben Reilly and Backlash teamed up to fight Venom and one of Backlash's foes. Taboo, the redhead, got her powers from a blood-drinking symbiotic lifeform acting as her costume, so that was where Venom entered the picture.
