    The Blum Model is a health model proposed in 1974 by Blum. It consists of four key elements: environment, lifestyle, heredity, and medical care. The model was proposed in response to health determinants and how they affect health status of individuals and the population. Environment effects would come from the society the person lived in, including economic status and physical environmental influence.
