  1. Have boomerangs ever actually been used as weapons?

Feb 21, 2019 · However, the weapon-boomerang is the straight-flying boomerang. The returning boomerang is largely a toy (although apparently saw some use for hunting). Returning boomerangs are lighter and will be less effective on impact (though can still be effective for small game, such as birds), and present a rather more challenging problem for aiming.

  2. How effective was the boomerang as a weapon? : r/AskHistorians

Jun 29, 2018 · Like the boomerang, the chakram is an aerodynamic thrown weapon. It differs from the boomerang aerodynamically since the boomerang produces different amounts of lift on the left and right sides (due to differing speed through the air - on one side, the rotation adds to the linear speed, and on the other, it reduces it), while the chakram ...

  3. Boomerang Shield : r/dndnext - Reddit

hmm i wonder if the rogue Sneak Attack can work with the boomerang shield for the sneak attack rule's states -The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon- and the boomerang shield is considered as a ranged weapon so if you have a lev19 Rogue with one lev in fighter or ranger so they can use a shield it be one hell of a surprise for ...

  4. Fun Boomerang build? 5e : r/3d6 - Reddit

  5. What‘s the purpose of Boomerang? Am i missing something?

Nov 10, 2023 · The throwable weapon mod "Boomerang" grants a 20-50% chance (depends on the quality) to 'instantly return it' after killing an enemy with a headshot. But Level 3 Juggler grants a 100% chance to 'reset the cooldown' after killing with a headshot so they do the same, right?

  6. How was the boomerang used as a weapon? : r/AskHistorians

Aug 9, 2021 · The returning boomerang doesn't appear to have been used in war. The non-returning boomerang, designed to fly straight and level, is a convenient hunting weapon, since it will still hit a target that runs away, while a spear (with a parabolic trajectory rather than a straight-and-level trajectory) will miss.

  7. Any opinions on the scrapped weapon concepts from generations?

Apr 5, 2020 · The boomerang though, this one I really like. A heavy pseudo ranged cutting weapon sounds like just the thing this game needs. Alternating between classic melee fighting and throwing/punching the boomerang around sounds like a good mix. However I suspect it would lead to plenty of "corner boomerang" if the range on the boomerang is long enough.

  8. Wyvern Boomerang? : r/MonsterHunter - Reddit

Dec 31, 2021 · Well, looking at the article this "Wyvern Boomerang" isnt completely out of the question. The "Hunting Hound Weapon" appears to be early brainstorm ideas for what we now call palimutes. 95% its purely wishful thinking...but given the palimute is an alternative to palicos now, it wouldnt be an impossible surprise

  9. Best boomerang build? : r/3d6 - Reddit

Mar 21, 2021 · There is a magic item called Storm Boomerang from PotA, which meant that D&D Beyond needed to define a base weapon type of boomerang to make it work. The magic item itself is an official item, but the base boomerang hasn't been officially published anywhere, it's just a database entry that's needed to make the magic item function.

  10. How to Boomerang? : r/deadcells - Reddit

Sep 19, 2021 · I love the boomerang, it's extremely powerful when used with another ranged weapon imho. I throw the boomerang first, then start firing arrows. When the boomerang comes back it attacks the enemy from behind, inflicting more damage and interrupting its attack. With this build, together with the great owl, I managed to finish 5BC.
