  1. Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42 - BirdForum

Oct 11, 2011 · OK, so the defective Bushnell 8x42 Ultra HD are being return shipped, and I received a replacement set today. Guess what--they're also faulty right out of the box! Most obvious is fuzziness in the lower left portion of the view through the left side, especially fuzzy edge to the field stop.

  2. 8x42: Legend Ultra HD or Bushnell Elite - BirdForum

Oct 7, 2010 · Buy the Ultra HD with confidence. You will have to spend 10x more to get better OPTICAL performance. The mechanical performance could be better, but the price is so cheap you can buy two and still have one to use while having the broken one repaired or replaced under the Lifetime Warranty.

Feb 26, 2010 · I have recently had the opportunity to audition The Zen-Ray 7x36 ED2 and the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42. I would like to share some of my conclusions with the understanding that I am not an optics expert but am an avid optics user. My primary birding bin is the Swarovski 7x42 SLC. This is a...

Apr 1, 2017 · So being curious about this brand I contacted Bushnell UK and they kindly agreed to supply two models for reviewing purposes: Legend M 8x42 and Trophy 8x32. The Legend series is a family of bins all having phase coatings, while models E and M have extra-low dispersion glass and M gets dielectric prism coating. The Legend M is priced at around ...

  7. Nikon Monarchs or Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42? - BirdForum

May 5, 2010 · I finally got to look through some Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42s today. Not enough eye relief, despite being rated at 17mm compared to 15mm on my Legend Porro 8x42s, which do have enough. I thought the wide FOV was too good to be true, and it was.

  8. Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42 | Page 2 - BirdForum

Oct 11, 2011 · AP You are right that the 8x42 Legend Ultra HD's are a good bino at the $150 range, and I guess I should have tempered my remarks as I seem to have a knack for rooting out good deals. Ever since I bought my 8x42 Alpen Wings ED's for $175 last spring, I have been looking for another 8x42 that...

  9. Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x36 Binocular - BirdForum

10x42 Ultra 8x36 Ultra 8x42 Ultra 10x36 Ultra I base that ranking strictly on the comparison of the 3 that I have and I think 8x36 is a good compromise. But, I like the compact 36 models and and hoping some major brands will make a 10x36 of this class and charge 500 for it. I used to think 10x32 useless, but maybe there is some promise there.

  10. Bushnell Legend HD vs Elites? - BirdForum

Jun 14, 2013 · I have been using an Elite 8x42 for some years and just today got a Legend Ultra HD 8x42. I am more than impressed. And yes, binoculars have improved a great deal during the past 10 years. It is the coatings which have made the biggest improvement to mid priced bins and I can't see any reason to pay £800 to £1000 just to get a posh little badge.
