Apr 2, 2021 · Make sure the cleric’s utility block is broken, villagers usually grab the closest job block after that. To keep them at their job you have to trade with them, so if you have traded with the cleric I don’t think he’ll change professions.

Sep 7, 2019 · I have a cleric villager that i use for the rotten flesh trade (i have a zombie spawner so i have a ton of it) but it won’t let me do the trade anymore. i can do the other ones, but the rotten flesh one has the red x over the arrow. i’ve tried breaking and replacing his work station, but nothing changes. i’m on ps4 if that makes a difference

Jan 30, 2015 · The Cleric now only trades Rotten Flesh, Gold Ingots, Redstone Dust, Lapis Lazuli, Eye of Ender, Glowstone and Bottles of Enchanting. It's mention in the notes probably just comes under 1.8 Villager trading has been revamped .

May 1, 2019 · So I got my first cleric in my village to master, and have been regularly cycling through his trades to dump rotten flesh into him, but his trades seem to have locked down. I just tested with nether wart and gold ingots, but they refuse to refresh their other trade options.

Nov 22, 2022 · Hoping someone can help me with this. I'm in the process of building a trading hall. My cleric won't restock his rotten flesh for emeralds trade. He has access to his job block, as can be seen in the picture. There's a bed within 5 blocks. I also have several other villagers around who are all restocking no issues.
