Colman Pearce (born 22 September 1938) is an Irish pianist and conductor. Born in Dublin, Pearce was educated at University College Dublin and studied conducting in Hilversum and Vienna.

Colman Pearce (b. Dublin, 22 Sept. 1938). Conductor, composer, pianist. Pearce studied piano with Gerard Shanahan and competed successfully at festivals throughout Ireland. He was awarded the B.Mus (Hons) at University College Dublin 1960, and later studied conducting with Franco Ferrara in Hilversum and with Hans Swarowsky in Vienna.

As a conductor, Colman Pearce’s repertoire embraces not only the main works in the symphonic field but also opera and oratorio. He has directed the first performances of many contemporary Irish works and, with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, has recorded CDs with works of classical composers.
