Sometimes a smaller font is a good way out of a tight spot. In this particular case, at least for the part of the problem shown, there is a better solution which is both clearer, and takes half the space, like so: I'm using a large enough font, 18pt Tahoma (open image in new tab to view full size), that the negative letter-space is OK.

Mar 15, 2021 · Since monospace font is more difficult to read (take a long piece of text, say twenty pages, and print it using a monospace font; then print the next ten pages using a serif font, and see by yourself), I agree with your choice of not using monospace font for the long chunks of text, such as the description on your screenshot.

The font should be free to use and in a format in which I could add it to an iPhone app which I'm developing. EDIT 1. To clarify, the sample image I have used has nothing to do with my app. It was just a way to illustrate what I mean. So, yes, the font is aliased and is ugly, but it's not what I'm using, so no need to try to improve that.

With the fonts, we have currently solved it in such a way that we have a base font size of 16 px from a viewport of 0–1280 px. If the viewport is larger than 1280px, the base font size is increased to 18px.
