The Dairy Promotion and Research Order (Dairy Order) provides that dairy farmers can receive a credit up to 10 cents, against the 15-cent per hundredweight national assessment, and importers can receive up to 2.5 cents per hundredweight, for contributions to Qualified Programs.

National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDB) is focused on helping build demand and expand domestic and international markets for dairy products. This 37-member board was formed under the authority of the Dairy Production Stabilization Act of 1983 and the Dairy Promotion and Research Order.

We are funded by the nation’s nearly 28,000 dairy farm families and those that import dairy into the U.S. The DMI board consists of the board of the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board and the United Dairy Industry Association board, working as a unified body.

Kenya Dairy Board works towards regulating, promoting and developing the dairy industry.

DMI manages National Dairy Council and the American Dairy Association, and founded the U.S. Dairy Export Council and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.

National Dairy Council (NDC) is a non-profit dairy nutrition research and education organization founded by dairy farmers and funded through the national dairy checkoff program.

South Dakota Dairy Producers Association’s board of directors is comprised of nine members. The board is a blend of dairy farmers and industry representatives, with six dairy farmers and three industry professionals.

Aug 27, 2024 · The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of 12 members to serve on the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board. The appointees will serve three-year terms, effective Nov. 1, 2024, through Oct. 31, 2027.

The South Dakota Dairy Drive, initiated in 2012 by dairy processors and producers incorporates many activities to meet these growth objectives.
