Jan 29, 2018 · With Deutan filter I got Deutan colorblindness. With Protan filter I got... Normal Vision... However, colors looks so displaced to me. Reds looks pink, oranges looks like cold/faint red. Greens look great. Then Deutan filter gives me very bright reds and greens, like just sliding the brightness all the way up in every red and green.

Jan 25, 2018 · Don't EVEN worry about it! I was a "Summa Cum Laude" college grad, was accepted to apply for a "Federal' position". Passed all the complicated mental and physical requirements. Found out at the final medical/physical exam, I was outright rejected, (Strong Deutan). Life goes on, another opportunity is just waiting for you/yours!

Sep 14, 2022 · Thank you. This align with my observations using a protan/deutan simulator. To me, Red and Green are darker yellow through the simulator. Purple is exactly blue. Pink is a tricky one. Sometimes it's light blue, sometimes it's gray.

Feb 4, 2016 · Just wanted to do a review from my point of view with the cx-25 (rx cause they are prescriptions) as a mild deutan (echroma tests and the 100 shade test). I see lots of reviews most are with cx-14's or 65's and not many people really describe how the colours change for them.

Feb 25, 2021 · Is it possible to have a mix of both, or do I have a really strong case of Protan/Deutan? PS. On MS Windows, the accessibility colour filters for Protan works best for me. However the reds all turn into grey. The Deutan filters don't do much. On iPhone, both Protan and Deutan filters work exactly the same and turn red into magenta.

Sep 11, 2020 · My friend just got diagnosed with deutan color blindness (it seems to be severe) and so I wanted to find something that will help them see colors better. I’ve heard of people using normal tinted sunglasses to help correct color blindness, but I don’t know how effective that is or if it has to be a certain color/type.

Aug 22, 2021 · Yeah, I agree. It's an inexact correlation. I simply mean that of the 38, not only are there demonstration plates, but there are also diagnostic plates that differentiate between protan/deutan, such that a person should always be able to see at least one of those plates. If someone says they failed all 38, this should not be possible.

This will be a hard question for many to answer. Everybody's results with Enchroma will be different. I am a strong Deutan, and Enchroma glasses haven't fully given me "normal" color vision. My guess is that I am somewhere in the mid-range; meaning that my color vision has improved to a certain degree or percentage.
