Jul 22, 2023 · Yes, Dotty's is alive and very well in Las Vegas, along with Montana, Oregon, and Illinois. At last count, there were well over 200 in the four states. They're not so much "small casinos" as bars with machines; Dotty's locations in Las Vegas have restricted gambling licenses, which means 15 machines or fewer.

Without going through all of the slot club benefits and promotions, the one that is most relevant to today’s story is the “Big Bonus.” In this promotion, all W2-Gs become drawing entries, and 10% of these entries get a 10% cash bonus.

Nov 8, 2022 · Long-time readers of mine know I sometimes play at Dotty’s. Dotty’s has numerous (more than 100) locations in Nevada which are mostly 15-machine locations. It does have a few full-blown casinos with several hundred machines each, and at least one intermediate-sized location (at Sunset and Green Valley Parkway) with about 50 machines in it.

There are 22 in clark county and the county can not decide how to regulate them as they fall into a grey area as to classification. As they seem to be a successful gambling operation I was curious if anyone knew anything about them. I have never noticed them in my many visits to Vegas.

Sep 1, 2020 · Most Dotty’s in Las Vegas are closed now. The governor has ordered all bars closed, including bartop machines in all casinos. Most Dotty’s are 15-machine establishments, and most or all of these machines are on bartops. There was a change to this rule in mid-August that will allow some additional Dotty’s to reopen.

There’s so much news today we almost don’t know where to begin. But we’ll start with Atlantic City, which reported a 2% increase in casino revenue, to $229 million.

The article referred to a particular $100,000 royal flush I hit at Dotty’s and why circumstances at that establishment led me to quit gambling there for a few months after the jackpot. Some of the follow-up comments about the article were, to me, very strange and irrelevant. I wouldn’t call them stupid questions.
