Jul 22, 2023 · Yes, Dotty's is alive and very well in Las Vegas, along with Montana, Oregon, and Illinois. At last count, there were well over 200 in the four states. They're not so much "small casinos" as bars with machines; Dotty's locations in Las Vegas have restricted gambling licenses, which means 15 machines or fewer.

It does have a few full-blown casinos with several hundred machines each, and at least one intermediate-sized location (at Sunset and Green Valley Parkway) with about 50 machines in it.

There are 22 in clark county and the county can not decide how to regulate them as they fall into a grey area as to classification.
