Jun 3, 2022 · Unlike the torch tower design, which is also silent, items don't get stuck in the bottom dropper -- in other words, the elevator is able to keep up with the inflow of items. This also works for any number of droppers, not just an even number (unlike the torch tower).

If you haven’t started building your underground storage system, you can use upward facing droppers and a 3x3 tube made of any solid block (lots of people use glass) and the items will transport themselves to the top, where you can then use hoppers to gather the items. I can link an example if you’d like as well :)
