Jun 30, 2020 · the FAMAS (or FA-MAS as in , Fusil d'Assault de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-étienne) has been in service since 1973 and formally to be retired and replaced by the HK416 since 2018, several models and variants of this rifle have been made and i see a lot of confusion reguarding each variant, here's a walkthrough to FAMAS nomenclature.

Dec 12, 2022 · If I recall correctly back in the late 80's, about a hundred semi automatic FAMAS's (modeled after the F1 variant) were imported to the states but it was shortly after that the ban was placed on foreign manufacturers from importing "non sporting" firearms to the US.

That way, you would have a close quarters riffle -AK-, close/medium -FAMAS- and medium/long -FCAR-, whilst with proper aim and movement you could still use the FCAR at close range against opponents that aren't expecting you -just like the light class can use the sniper at closer distances by zooming and booming-

Jul 23, 2020 · Honestly i have no fucking clue what you or anyone in these comments are talking about. You cant just replace the famas with a mp9. I use the famas effectively each game I play when im low on money with the exact same playstyle i have with m4. The mp9 is a good weapon but i dont really see it as a replacement for famas.

if you thought Famas was busted go try out the KS-23 lol! It feels sooo much better. Might just have a new best heavy weapon now. Maybe it’s just me but holy crap that thing felt SO good in the range. I’m about to try it in a real game now.

Oct 15, 2023 · Famas has a very weird spray pattern, and is not strong compared to the other rifles. A lot of people take an SMG because they’re only marginally weaker but much cheaper and have higher kill rewards. Personally, I like the Famas in a pinch. It depends on the spot I’m playing, though.

Famas is better than people realize but the enemies slipping between bursts make it feel bad for most players, if you land all your shots it’s pretty damn good. Reply reply LeAmazingLauge

Sep 18, 2015 · FAMAS is certainly on the M4's level if you ignore the spread, standing inaccuracy, crouching inaccuracy, firing inaccuracy, damage dropoff, recoil pattern, recoil magnitude, inaccuracy recovery time, and the suppressor (which handily reduces tracer frequency to 0). Hitting what you aim at is more of a pain in the dick with the FAMAS.
