Feb 7, 2016 · The G's have good corrosion protection, that said the frame is more likely to rust than the body. I have sprayed the undercarriage with CRC heavy duty corrosion inhibitor that's made for boats and it's holding up great after almost a year even with the car getting road salt all over and being pressure washed.

Once I have figured out what I want, I make a list then email it to Jack over at Jack Wagon Overlanding and have him order everything for me. And FYI - LeTech is legit. They're up there with Brabus when it comes to G-Wagen tuning and aftermarket mods.

Jan 22, 2022 · The only G worth considering in the OP application is the G461, intended for military etc usages, no bling, probably Euro 3 diesel, 16” rims, Hutchinsons with 8.25R16 XZL, etc etc. A 463, like a Beverly Hills/drug dealer G550 with 22-24” wheels and massive bling would be a joke in most of Africa.

May 24, 2010 · The G Wagen is known to rust around the rear quarter panels and rear tail light sections. In order to prevent that sort of thing from happening, the surfaces were prepped and the G Wagen was towed over to LineX in Laurel, MD to have the lower rockers sprayed with the airtight and watertight LineX coating. The end result was again unbelievable.
