Sep 13, 2024 · My new 2024 GLC-300 has a noticeable clunking noise coming from the rear, usually when accelerating from 3rd to 4th gear. A mechanic at the dealership test-drove it and claimed the sound is normal due to the rear camera opening and closing. He did check the camera cover and also reload software that controls the rear camera.
