Add me to the list of heating issues. In May, the heater on my lemon, I mean, 2008 GMC Acadia stopped working (adding to the million reasons why I hate this car). I took it to our local GMC dealership who showed me what was happening. There is rusty "goop" (for lack of a better term) running through my heating system.

Have it at my mechanic who does warranty work he honors all warranties only response I can get from gm is sorry you have to take it to one of our garages. I refuse to pay double the price to have them tell me the same thing as its an unserviceable transmission

Aug 1, 2010 · I purchased my GMC Acadia in April of 2007 and have had numerous problems. The first transmission failed at 79,029 miles and the second one has failed at 143,348 miles. Prior to both transmission failures the car would not smoothly accelerate but "jerk" forward when the gas pedal was pushed on the highway.
