We present a histologically unique lesion occurring exclusively on the gingiva and introduce the diagnostic term “Gingival Fibroma” (GF) for these lesions. GF can be distinguished reliably from other reactive gingival lesions such as PG, PGCG, POF and POdF, as elaborated below.
