First bike: yamaha r3 vs cbr500r : r/SuggestAMotorcycle - Reddit
Aug 18, 2023 · Doing some research I’m seeing that the r3 is pretty close on power to the 500r but is a bit lighter. I’d assume the cbr may ride a little better on the highway but the Yamaha might be more fun in the corners. I like the styling of the Honda better, but I’ve read some great reviews on the r3 and still think it’s a good looking bike as well.
R3, Ninja 300, or CBR 300? : r/YamahaR3 - Reddit
Oct 5, 2020 · The shifting on the Honda felt clunky and the R3 is seamless but man the Honda sure made me learn good shifting techniques. My biggest hate to the Honda is it's extremely torquey first gear that required a flawless rev match every time …
Ninja 400 vs CBR500r vs r3 : r/SuggestAMotorcycle - Reddit
May 14, 2023 · CBR500R is too heavy and has a very boring tractor engine that readlines at 8500 rpm, that does not belong in a Honda "R" bike. Yamaha R3 engine makes the least power of the 3 bikes listed, but revs out to 12500 rpm, has a light, responsive chassis, and decent suspension. Just as fast as the CBR, but tons more fun, and just as good on the highway.

Aug 16, 2020 · Im 19 in the U.S. and I started on a 2020 R3 with ABS. I’ve had it for about 3 months and I feel like it’s the best decision I could’ve made. It’s the best looking bike in its class (imo), it’s enough power for your first bike, and it’s comfortable while still being on the aggressive end as far as seat position.
First bike: is a Yamaha R3 worth $450 more than a Honda CBR300R?
Nov 19, 2015 · Ninja 300 - Engine is almost legendarily reliable, comparable performance to the R3 and RC390, with ABS it is the 2nd cheapest (the Honda beats it), biggest aftermarket so very competitive pricing. Only real downside is the stock tires are exceptionally bad, like they have a terrible reputation (Road Winners).

Sep 6, 2023 · I have an mt03 and current gen r3. They’re really fun bikes. Love the engine. Also have an s1000r and R6. Decided to get the r3 to hoon around city. And abused the crap out of it and it’s still going strong. Plus I get 46mpg lol while keeping it in high RPMs. Can’t beat that

Question about R3 and cbr500 r : r/motorcycles - Reddit
Mar 23, 2016 · The r3 is more work to ride to find its sweet spot. I wanted the r3 as my next bike but we got a really good deal on the 500. (3000 for a 2014 with 3k on it.) I'm glad for it. I can ride for hours comfortably and have almost a 300 mile range. For us, the 500 was actually slightly less to insure than the r3. The Honda is perfect for 90% of my ...
Is the Honda Grom a good first bike : r/motorcycles - Reddit
Aug 15, 2023 · The Grom started making infinitely more sense to me when I went to Thailand and saw them in their natural habitat of downtown Bangkok - it's essentially a 125cc underbone bike with motorbike ergonomics/aesthetics and a manual transmission (though you can get a Super Cub-style Honda semi-auto for it in Asia).
R3 vs CBR500? : r/motorcycles - Reddit
Apr 17, 2016 · I currently have my eyes set on either a 2015 Yamaha R3 or a Honda CBR500. They cost about the same (CBR is $200-500 more than the R3 depending on the dealer I go to). I like the feel/riding position of the R3, as well as the higher revving motor and lesser weight. I am usually a Yamaha fan-boy, but that does not mean I am not open-minded.
