I got to see Killswitch with Howard back in 2007 when they preformed their As Daylight Dies UK/Ireland tour. I even got to meet Adam and Justin before the show as they were just walking around Dublin together and it was just at the perfect time.

Jun 14, 2014 · There is no bad blood between KsE and Howard; it's just health problems that would've killed the band had they not made the change. The split was best for both parties. Also, i would LOVE to have a song like 'Take This Oath' where Howard comes and does guest vocals on a new KsE song on the next record.

Since I grew up listening to him I was kinda thrown for a loop at first when listening to music featuring younger metal Howard Jones recently. His work with Killswitch Engage on their last album was how I found out about him actually.

Jun 25, 2021 · Howard Jones, hands down. His vocals are among the most bone-chilling of the genre. His screams send huge emotion and intensity. Also, his singing is so angelic that it gives you chills sometimes. Jesse is good too, he does a great job, and his vocals are extremely solid, but none can touch Howard, in my opinion.

I agree, KSE was one of those iconic metal bands that made me the metal head I am. Despite how sad this is, I think we have to remember that Howard Jones is the man, despite whatever speculation is coming to surface with his personal life or why he had to leave the band, he is such an amazing vocalist.

Dec 18, 2021 · Howard is the better vocalist skill wise, but I prefer Jesse KSE. The music with Jesse is harder hitting and more hardcore leaning, and I prefer that slightly more than the Howard stuff. But of course you can’t go wrong with the first 2 Howard KSE records.
