Jun 10, 2017 · I didn’t initially think HasLab’s Sail Barge strategy would “sail” either but I made my two pledges in hopes that somehow this would float. I was one of many Star Wars collectors who always wanted a Sail Barge and Tantive IV so was on board. I get the price arguments but this vehicle was made as a highly detailed toy with insane accuracy.

If I wanted an Emperor’s throne room display like the recently released Jabba’s throne room, I’d want to buy that separately for $200-$300 and not as part of a large, expensive, and exclusive Haslab that’ll go for $1000+.

I purchased a 2nd Barge to help it get across the 5000 backed finish line of the campaign, then watched it soar to over 8000 backers in the final hours thanks to FOMO.

Jun 10, 2017 · Sail Barge/Jabba's Palace characters are my favorite Star Wars characters to collect, but I honestly have no idea where I'd put a 4' long Sail Barge. Not to mention $500 is a steep asking price for a large majority of people, especially on this short of a notice.

Jun 10, 2017 · The BOBF/Jabba’s Palace set released on Pulse makes me think they’re testing the waters with alternatives to Haslab for larger releases. While I understand the desire for a rerelease and as a barge owner wouldn’t oppose one, as I stated earlier this early in Haslabs life cycle it is too early and would likely kill the Haslab concept.
