Aug 26, 2020 · In my opinion, a 17x9 is a great size for larger tires. Not too narrow for 13.5" wide tires, enough sidewall bulge to protect the wheel, and minimizes wheel weight. I chose 17x9 -12mm offset 4.53" backspace wheels and wrapped them in 38x13.50's for my 2019 Rubicon.
