Jinbei has sort been coming and going for a long time, so there are numerous valid points where you can consider him officially in the crew or not, but what I was curious about is how people feel about him as a strawhat crew member specifically (not whether he is strong or cool, but if he really feels like one of the gang yet).

Jinbe would be the closest to the Japanese in terms of spelling, but technically Jimbe is also correct, and Jinbei/Jimbei would possibly be closer to the pronounciation in english, since when english speakers read it we naturally elongate the "eh" sound. I personally prefer n over m, but I do tend to go back and forth between Jinbe and Jinbei.

Mar 18, 2021 · As a WB pirates fan, I love the relationship between Jinbei and the WBPs. It's mutual respect. Jinbei was said to visit the WB Pirates from time to time. Jinbei was an utter badass during Marineford. Everyone focuses on him vs Akainu but his punch on Moria is very cool. Jinbei is powerful and useful but doesn't overshadow the rest.

All they had to do is keep distance and shoulder throw water onto their ships to buy time for the straw hats. It's not like jinbei fought her commanders or big mom directly.
