Nov 11, 2020 · A short-but-taller setup like the KS7 or KSG w/ the "carry handle sight" replacing the rail (Kel-Tec offers the KS7-style carry handle for for KSG for sale now from folks requesting it enough) is as maneuverable as any other 26" OAL firearm when dealing with a (mostly) horizontal plane of engagement.

Jun 29, 2015 · A sometime problem of the Kel-Tec shotguns is failure to extract of low based steel cases, especially budget ammo. One of the worst is Wal-Mart bulk pack low "brass" Winchester ammo. This is why the owner's manual says not to use low brass shells. Kel-Tec parkerizes their barrels including inside the chamber and bore.

Feb 20, 2022 · The IC choke does seem to give better results with both slugs and buckshot, but to this day most gun makers still use the traditional Cylinder bore on defense type guns, including Kel-Tec. Bottom line is, you HAVE to shoot the gun with various ammo to find one brand-type that gives BOTH reliable operation and tighter accuracy.

Mar 3, 2013 · I’ve recently acquired a brand new Kel-Tec KSG (serial x24##) from GunBroker after trying months to get one from my local shops. As you all know, this equated to a pretty expensive purchase I went into this purchase knowing that this is still a fairly new gun (design) and there might be issues that’ll have to be resolved.

Dec 10, 2012 · Some of this I agree with, but not for a KSG. For a service rifle, yes. For a KSG, most people will be stretching the limits of the weapon (certainly the design intent) shooting it at 50 yards. While I prefer the quality and parallax free capabilities of a holographic, it's overkill and not necessary at all on a shotgun.

Feb 16, 2019 · I'm waiting for Kel-Tec to make the KS35, with five tubular magazines on the sides and bottom of the barrel and a five position rotating cylinder for a magazine selector switch. Kel-Tec! Take my money! It should be able to run 60 of the minislugs. :tu: Good for zombies, alien xenomorphs, or velociraptors.
