Mar 29, 2020 · I decided to hook my Xbox One Kinect up to One X again w crazy adapter. I like to keep each generation so I have PS1-PS5 and OG Xbox-Series X among other consoles....the wires get CRAZY for like PS4 VR, Wii/Wii U camera, PS3 move/PS2 eye, blahblah(not to mention lack of floor space), so I took peripherals down 2 years ago, tidied up.

As a result, there were only like 4 or 5 decent titles for the Xbox one Kinect Xbox Fitness was actually really good, but it was shut down because basically not enough people used it. Because it needed to be kept up, that means it cannot be used at all today, it’s closed.

Sep 19, 2022 · Kinect for Xbox 360 and Kinect for Windows V1 have physical hardware differences. In the sense that they have different featuresets, and require different software. (Xbox Kinect requires the SDK on top of the runtime to actually work) Kinect for Xbox One and Kinect for Windows V2 are identical. K4WV2 just has the Kinect branding instead of Xbox.

Yep. Shortly after I ordered my Xbox One X from Amazon I ordered the adapter. I had it sitting in the box since September waiting for my One X to arrive. Found out that the One X is particular to which USB port you use. You have to use the USB port closest to the HDMI port.

Dec 16, 2022 · - Just Dance 2022 marks the last game supporting the Xbox One Kinect. 2023 is not on the Xbox One and the Series X/S console does not support the connect. - Just Dance Unlimited is account linked but I think is transferred between games. Just would probably need to use it on the latest game you own to get the most out of it.

I just set up a One Kinect on an Xbox One X and I can tell you that the infrared works just fine, I saw it onscreen. Yes, you must use the USB adapter, but it works exactly the same as it does on a standard Xbox One (I have one of those also). I will say that I wish it had the motors that the 360 Kinect has so it could auto-aim.

Aug 3, 2020 · I personally have an xbox one kinect, I wouldn't even bother going for a 360 tbh. The software integration is worse, smaller fov, lower frame rate (less updates to your full body tracking), worse tracking in general. Driver4vr, the adapter, and the kinect itself can all be picked up for about 90 bucks total.

It has so many cool uses but the problem is that it wasn’t marketed well at all. That’s without mentioning the PR nightmare that was the “always connected to the internet, Kinect required, always watching, always listening” messaging that came out of E3 all those many years ago when the One was first announced.
