Christinus marmoratus, also known as marbled gecko or southern marbled gecko, is a species of Gekkonidae (gecko) native to southern mainland of Australia, from Victoria to Western Australia. The species is well adapted to a variety of habitats, including city dwellings.

The Marbled Gecko is a small, soft bellied lizard, up to 150mm long. It is easily identified by its large finger and toe pads which spread out to grasp slippery or soft surface. It lacks moveable eyelids and uses its tongue to keep its eyes clean.

Marbled Geckos range in size from 8cm 12cm in length. Marbled Geckos can live – for 5-10 years and are very low maintenance compared to all other animals.
