I know the font used for the logo (Mighty Rapids) but the numbers in that font don't match up. Picture below shows the exact numbers.

Since this is so very, very hard to achieve, stumbling upon a look-alike may evoke the notion that your own design is too random. And yes, researching the clients competitive landscape is mandatory.

But then one should always avoid too many elements (details) in a logo, and have only one version so that it reduces the chances of its misuse in the future. We (at Dalton Maag) made two versions for this logo* to make sure it works well also in the small sizes.

I've even had clients who always tried writing their name in their logo font and colour (a la the Coca-Cola example), or even sticking their logo into bodies of text in place of a name! I keep reading, in magazines, designers who say that clients are "getting smarter".

Apr 20, 2017 · I don't need the actual Pepsi logo (I could probably find a vector of it somewhere) I just need the font names or close fonts so I can create a design with wording that has the same look as this logo (customer specifically asked for this look and sent me the Pepsi Logo jpeg file) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
