Jan 11, 2022 · For my Medusa, it doesn't even touch my teeth and it barely touches my gum because my lip is thick. I think every body is different, I would recommend trying it out as long as you know to take it out if you run into any issues! I won't lie to you though, the Medusa was my most painful piercing to date.

Jun 7, 2023 · I’ve had my medusa piercing for around 7 months. The first few months were fine healing-wise, but the last few months I’ve had issues with irritation bumps on the outside. My piercer downsized the bar to mitigate this and it worked. However, the top ended up sinking in and embedding into my lip.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get both? I'm afraid the back of the medusa might hook onto my smiley since i wear a closed ring in it. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Do you think I should try to get my medusa piercing on the 18th still (or maybe even earlier than that) OR wait until I do my lip fillers and then get my medusa piercing? Apr 23, 2024 · Stop using homemade saltwater or antibiotic ointment. Use prepackaged sterile saline solution. No ointment, creams, oils, alcohol, etc should ever go on a piercing. Don’t touch it, twist it, or play with it. You can swish with alcohol-free mouthwash to keep the inside clean. Go to safepiercing.org and find an APP registered piercer in your area.

I think the medusa would give you the more chill / laid back cool vibe on its own while just labret is sweeter on you and seems more of an accessory than on you, both together is a very alternative look on you i think :)
