May 3, 2021 · Even with 5 reload the Necromancer has way more drones than an overlord. Reload is the only stat that is changed for Necromancer. 0 reload allows for a maximum of 22 squares to be turned into drones, and each additional reload upgrade allows the Necromancer to possess two more squares. In this build with 5 reload, 22+2(5)=32 drones cap.

Aug 9, 2023 · Other than the Animate Dead bonuses, School of Necro is definitely lackluster for cool abilities. I'm currently playing a Necromancer in a home DnD game, and we've already implemented several house rules/changes for it. Hopefully some mods will release that offer more interesting ideas for the schools abilities.

Aug 5, 2023 · The biggest annoyance I can think of for Necromancer is, for whatever reason, requires a Raise Dead compatible corpse. THIS IS NOT COMMON. I won't go into detail with the ocean of incompatible corpses, but it's very infuriating when you find a prop-for-the-level skeleton, raise it, kill a skeleton enemy, they're not compatible.

Diablo 2 is the best, Diablo 3, Divinity OS 2 there are some type of necromancy, guild wars, and path of exile, great necromancy type btw, I'm a main necromancer in any game that allows that and is a shame it's not a popular class.

He mostly relies on summoning skeletons, which pushes him to the back ranks often. So make sure you have heroes who can reach him at the back for high damage. At apprentice level you can mostly ignore the summons and just focus on beating the shit out of the necromancer; once you kill him, the summons die.

The unique weapon is a 2H scythe called bloodless scream as you can see it makes darkness chill enemies and you do more damage to chilled and frozen enemies plus your darkness skills do more damage.
