I wanted to buy one some time ago, but couldn't find them for sale anywhere. Then I learned that Nikon had gotten out of the scope business. Now I'm seeing Sig Sauer Buckmaster scopes on the market.

Oct 9, 2007 · Re: Nikon optics I have the 4-14 mil dot SF it isn't too bad, the repeatability is a little less than reliable. for the money it is a decent optic. i don't know if it is me or not but after a long time on high power my eye gets fatigued and it gets a little blurry. Dec 12, 2009 · Are they Nightforce or S&B quality--no but at the price point are affordable and get the job done. I also own 10 other Nikon optic products of which none have ever given me a problem. I feel like Nikon is getting a bad rap for dropping rifle scopes and thus getting a lot of negative reviews. They may get back into optics.

Jul 27, 2011 · The Nikon's are good scopes, but you need to really look at their BDC reticle before you decide to buy one. The Vortex BDC is set at different MOA points on the stadia, I think 1.5 MOA, 4.5 MOA, 7.5 MOA and 11 MOA.
