Companies like Be Quiet!, DeepCool, and Thermalright have very competitive offerings compared to Noctua That being said Noctua still has best in class long term warranty and support. Also you should keep in mind that the NH-D15 is around a decade old design.

Jan 11, 2021 · I decided to pick between two options: the Noctua NH-D15 and the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer 2 280mm. I would use one of this coolers coupled with the Ryzen 7 5800x, don't intend to do overclocking except for activating the XMP profile and when I get the full system I probably won't have much time for long play sessions or even streaming.
