Jan 10, 2022 · It comes with two 120mm fans, but I had two noctua 140mm fans which I mounted in front, drawing in fresh air. I use one 120mm exit fan. They all normally run <1000 rpm. The cpu fan will ramp up to 1500 rpm. The sound is reasonable because the pc sits about 3 feet away. Today, my room is a bit colder than it was on a previous test session.

Mar 24, 2015 · A silent and cheap CLC pump is almost as expensive as a whole Noctua NH-D15, it might all in all end up to costs the same as 3 noctua NH-D15 for a good and silent clc . Hope i can keep my i7 4790k at temps below 80 with prime 95 by only having the cpu cooler running at max rpm and low load temps under 50 degrees (both with case fans at low rpm)

Aug 16, 2019 · The front fins of the NH-D15 generally protrude over the RAM slots. Due to the recessed lower fins, it is still possible to use RAM modules with up to 65mm height in single fan mode. In dual fan mode, the front fan will sit above the RAM slots as well. In this case, Noctua recommends using standard height RAM (up to 32mm).

Jan 10, 2016 · Will my old Noctua NH-D15S fan with the 14700k be enough to keep it good temps? If it were you, would you normally upgrade to a new cooler with a new CPU? As far as I know Noctua fans last for like 10 years. Also I'm assuming I'll need to upgrade my PSU as well. Would you guys recommend any extra case fans to help with air flow? My case is massive.
