Australia FADAL parts
It is a time consuming process, but it leaves me with a bunch of FADAL parts which are located on this side of the pacific in Australia. Obviously many of these parts including 1010 boards, amps, in fact the whole electronic side etc are particularly hard to find easily in Australia.
Haas, how to find total on time? - CNCzone
Aug 15, 2009 · total tool changes. Unlike the old Haas that broke it down into splindle on time, feed time & just the on time (which mine shows as 336 hrs). Which I think is right as I only run it once a month for a few hrs. I bought it new on 7-20-04. Is there something I am missing or is that all the new machines show?
okuma ATC - stuck - CNCzone
Jan 28, 2008 · We solved our problem with the Okuma. It ended up that two of the four studs (that open and close to let the toolholder in and out) were stripped out of the plate which they were threaded into. This kept the spindle closed so that when the tool went to go back up into the spindle it was stopped, thus setting off the alarm.
H and D offsets - CNCzone
May 27, 2008 · Most people use 1,2,3, etc for H and then just add a value like +20, +30, +40 (something beyond your max tool quantity or magazine size) for setting D values. For the post issue, what version Mastercam are you running?
dropping tools - CNCzone
Jul 3, 2010 · Another problem is if you have 2 wide tools that get put into pockets next to each other. Like a 3" face mill and a 1.25" mill chuck. When the tool moves up into the carousel it will either pop out of the pocket or knock the other tool out. You can either designate one as a wide tool or take one out.
HAAS Mini Mill - Air Supply? - CNCzone
Nov 17, 2011 · That is plenty to run your mill on. The mill itself does not use much of a volume of air. It uses it for tool changes and the spindle lubrication system. The volume is less important than the pressure. You need to have the proper pressure for the tool release piston and that is the 100psi they call for.
Tool setter alarm - cnczone.com
Feb 17, 2007 · Seems strange to me that I'm only running the tool setter but getting a probe alarm. The probe system does not work either. I've been manually setting the tool length and using the machine coordinate system to set the G54 work coordinate. I'm only running EIA programs. I want to call the Renishaw people but the boss ain't goin' for that.

Renishaw OTS Probe Orientation - cnczone.com
Apr 27, 2011 · I need to move the OTS tool probe to the left side of the table and I need to change the orientation so the probe is along the Y axis. Now , I know I need to change a setting in the OTS setting macro. I just don;t know which setting to change since there is no manual. Has anyone done this on a Haas machine?
