Nov 25, 2016 · Performing a clean boot, was the only thing that worked. Rebooted, mouse back as a mouse, then reconfigured all services back in, reboot again then voila - Mouse still working as a mouse. No idea what the issue was, but a clean boot worked for me! Access the Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button, choose the Mouse, then Driver tab. First try Update this Driver > Automatically, then Roll Back if available.

Jul 10, 2018 · Go into the Device Manager, choose the Mouse device, on Driver tab see if Roll back is available and try that first. If not then try Uninstall, restart PC using keyboard to Ctrl Alt Del, on blue screen tab to Power Icon in bottom right, press Enter, arrow down to Restart, press Enter to restart to reinstall the driver.
