OUR MISSION: The mission of the Pinewood Fire Department is to provide protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fires, medical emergencies, and hazards. We engage the community in our mission through progressive community outreach.
Jan 22, 2025 · Chief Tope stated there is a shortage of medics in the state. Pinewood Fire is not experiencing a shortage. Operational report. E41 has returned but has a list of things that still need to be fixed. Chief Tope has emailed Fire Trucks Unlimited, and they are sending a mechanic to fix the issues.

About - Pinewood Fire Department
The Pinewood Fire Department was formed in 1973, becoming a Special Fire District in 1976. The Fire District day-to-day operations are the responsibility of Fire Chief, and are overseen by a 5-person elected Board of Directors. Our Fire District boundary is the community of Munds Park.
