QSC CP8 settings - The Gear Page
Mar 1, 2024 · While I’m looking to possibly go to a digital mixer I tend to not push the CP8 over gain 0. Some people say the CP8 is a harsh speaker I don’t know, kind of depends on your mixer, mixer gain/eq and of course the source (guitar amp or microphone). But importantly know the use case for speakers and room. I also put speakers on a stand.
Yamaha Dbr10 Vs Qsc Cp8 - The Gear Page
May 31, 2020 · I noticed that the CP8 has a wider dispersion angle and DMT ("Directivity Matched Transition™ for consistent frequency response across the entire coverage area"), and might therefore work better as a wedge in front of me on the smaller stages - I've had trouble with getting into the sweet spot of the TS310 and usually resort to using an amp ...
QSC CP8 PA Speaker vs. 8" Studio Monitors - Audio Science …
Jun 19, 2018 · I would be perfectly comfortable with EV ZXA1-90 speakers in my home. However, they cost $100 each more than the QSC CP8 and are an older design. Those who've compared the CP8 to the ZXA1-90 mostly agree that they are at least comparable in overall performance.
Qsc Cp8 or Rcf Art 708a Mk Iv - The Gear Page
Feb 20, 2019 · One thing that may be more of interest to you is the CP8's coverage angle is a consistent 90 degrees on both a horizontal or vertical axis, whereas the RCF has a more traditional coverage angle of 90 degrees horizontal and 70 degrees vertical adding to the CP8's versatility to be used consistently in either a floor monitor setup or a vertical ...
Which one, QSC CP8 or CP12? - The Gear Page
Sep 27, 2024 · I am not a fan of my QSC K8 with my Fractal AX8. JMHO. I would go for smaller studio monitors for 'at home' volumes. If you then go on to play out, get something louder, if needed. The big monitors just don't sound as good at low volumes. My Presonus E4.5 studio monitors sound better than anything else I have tried, to include: QSC, Alto, and ...
QSC CP8 or Headrush 108. - The Gear Page
Jan 28, 2019 · I haven't heard anyone mention that the CP8's LF transducer farts out/gets loose or noisy with similar low end notes and frequencies at higher levels. The QSC is rated down to 53hz and the HR is rated to 52hz, but those specs don't really take into account what SPL you're actually playing at.
QSC CP8 Modeling Application - The Gear Page
Oct 27, 2018 · Recently I've found myself doing a lot of open mic nights and jams with some local musicians so I was naturally curious when I saw the introduction of the new QSC CP8 powered speaker. Carting around a 20 lbs speaker sounds much more fitting for these open mic nights and jams that does a 50 lbs speaker.
QSC CP8 PA Speaker vs. 8" Studio Monitors
Nov 18, 2020 · The QSC CP8 maximum listening distance for 85 dB continuously with 20 dB of dynamic headroom would obviously far exceed 9.2 feet which would give me better performance in my current listening setup and more flexibility for a potential future larger space.
QSC CP: just tried them - The Gear Page
Oct 30, 2018 · I own several DXR12's and have for many years now and just bought a CP8 for use in smaller venues and setups. Of course the DXR12 is a different animal than the CP8 and the DBR10, but I totally trust the quality of both QSC and Yamaha when it comes to speakers. I doubt you'll hear a whole lot of difference between them tone-wise.
QSC CP8 v Headrush FRFR-108 | Page 2 | The Gear Page
Apr 22, 2022 · Pretty much the entire band is on QSC now. The drummer just picked up a CP8. Keyboard player and I already had them and the bass player brought in a CP12 tonight for the first time. The other guitar player is an old-fashioned amp guy, so I don't think we'll convert him.
